I believe a life without fitness is a life filled with compromise. I see a world filled with problems that the medical industry treats symptomatically and the fitness industry solves incompletely. I believe that individual problems require individualized solutions. I believe you DESERVE better than “good enough”. 

I know that the world has told you things like “this is just how it is” or “this is as good as it gets” and I think that’s bullshit. 

I believe in you. And soon, you will believe in yourself too.

HEY! I'M ANTHONY!

I am a former athlete and science nerd, who, after studying Anatomy and Physiology at the University of Oregon, has become passionate about helping individuals learn to prioritize their health without sacrificing the things they enjoy most in life. Born and raised in Bend, OR, I have been a local in the Eugene/Springfield community since 2012, where I reside with my fiancée and our Chiweenie puppy, Rennie. 

Growing up, sports and recreational activities were always a big part of my life. I played football and baseball up through high school as well as playing some club baseball in college at the University of Oregon. I’ve always had a passion for movement and have always enjoyed challenging myself physically. When my athletic career ended, I found myself in desperate need of a new challenge that continued to push me physically the way sports always had. Insert my passion for fitness.

 

In 2012, I joined a local CrossFit gym and made health and fitness the primary focus of my life. I found that my hunger for a physically demanding challenge was easily quelled with CrossFit, but something was missing. As I moved through my Human Physiology program at U of O, I found that I also had a passion for teaching. I enjoyed using the knowledge I had obtained in school to help myself and others progress in the gym and improve their lifestyle habits. I began coaching CrossFit as well as coaching clients 1:1 in 2016 and never looked back.

 

As a Fitness and Nutrition Coach, and through my education at U of O and with Active Life, I am equipped to work with your unique strengths and limitations to help you break free of your comfort zone so you can reach your full potential. With my guidance, you will build the education, strength, and confidence you need to embrace your active lifestyle and improve the quality of your life without having to give up the things you enjoy most.
